Course Description
In recent years, researchers have begun to explore the potential use of hallucinogenic drugs in mental health treatment. This new attention has contributed to a rise in the popularity of drugs like LSD, MDMA, magic mushrooms and ketamine. Beyond clinical trials, these substances have seen a growth in use for self-medicating, curious experimentation and recreational use across Canada.
Join us as we explore the growing world of hallucinogens. Together, we will examine how each individual drug impacts various regions of the brain, as well as their impact on overall adolescent health. We’ll consider the current research into these substances, debunk myths and highlight the potential risks of hallucinogen use.
